The Spire Team
Hugh Wade, CCIM
A life-long Alaskan with deep roots in the Great Land, Hugh Wade began his working career as a commercial lender and bank officer for First National Bank of Alaska. From 1998-2001, Hugh owned and operated a commercial salmon fishing company in the Bristol Bay area. In late 2001, Hugh re-entered the banking world as a commercial loan officer for Alaska First Bank & Trust. Hugh was the vice president and primary commercial lender for five years where he honed his financial skills. With an extensive knowledge of the demographics and economics of Anchorage and surrounding areas, he established Spire Commercial Real Estate in 2009. Since that time, Spire has seen increasing gross commission volume, deal sizes and complexity.
Marketing and Research Coordinator
An important member of the Spire Commercial team, Meghan is involved in researching and cataloging information to help properly market the properties represented by Spire. Meghan was born and raised in North Georgia and came to Alaska in 2016. Originally she came up to work for a fish processing plant during salmon season on the Kenai Peninsula and after the season ended she decided to call Alaska home. A background in finance and community outreach leads to a strong mix of skills for this Alaskan transplant. Outside of Spire, Meghan keeps busy with her husband and two small children while also working closely with the VITA( Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, assisting The Beluga Whale Alliance with the research and study of the Cook Inlet beluga population for conservation efforts, volunteering with the Alaskan Dog Sled Association, and offering financial education in the community.
